Most wardrobes are organised around extremes — the coat for January, the shirt for July. The vest answers for everything in between, which is where most of the year actually happens.

It was drawn for mornings that begin cold and end warm, and for people who would rather not think about it twice. The Essential line holds the pieces that earn their place by turning up, season after season, without asking to be considered.

Construction

A cotton-rich blend — 61.9% cotton to 38.1% polyester — with a 100% polyester contrast. At 380 g/m² (11.2 oz/yd²) it sits in the middle weight: enough body to hold its line across the shoulder, not so much that it reads as outerwear.
