A tube top is a single band of cloth. There is no strap to take the weight and no seam to hide behind, so the knit has to do all of it.

Studio was drawn for the room before the room fills — the mirror, the barre, the hour with nobody in it. This is its most reduced piece: cut short, held close, and sized on bust and underbust so the fit is a measurement rather than a guess. Worn under the flare pant, or under a shirt left open on the way home.

Construction

80% nylon with 20% spandex at 220 g/m² (6.5 oz/yd²). Thin, with substantial stretch and enough recovery to stay where it is put.

Fit

Close to the body and cropped through the length.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron on low, avoiding any print. Do not dry clean.

Held by the cloth, and nothing else.
