A halter is mostly negative space. Whatever is left of it has to be exactly right.

The Élan was cut to sit high and close, with nothing across the shoulder to interrupt the line. It works as a first layer, as a last layer, and — most often — as the only one.

Construction

75% nylon with 25% spandex at 220 g/m² (6.5 oz/yd²). Thin, with substantial stretch through the cloth.
