Desert Code takes the same foundational cap and shifts it into warmer, sand-toned territory — the piece for the parts of Chapter 001 that happen outdoors, in heat, away from the tailored city scenes the rest of the chapter leans on. It completes the trio without repeating either sibling: not as dark as Shadow, not as neutral as Light, closer to the color of a wall that's spent a full afternoon in direct sun. Three caps, three moods, the same underlying decision made three times so it never has to be made from scratch. Warmth, here, is just another register of quiet — nothing about a sand-toned cap needs to announce that it's warm to actually be warm.
